I very clearly remember a conversation with my husband back when we first met. Ok, not that clearly. I only remember, like 2 lines of it. Did I mention we drink a lot?

I remember that I told him Olivia Newton-John was my spirit animal.

And I remember he laughed and laughed and texted his sister in Florida so she could share in the laughs. Good times.

I straight up love ONJ. If I had to hear one singing voice for the rest of my life, it’d be hers.

I don't know enough about music to make a real observation, but I know enough to know I could listen to ONJ forever.

6th grade Lisa loves this GIF (and Olivia Newton-John). Make a Move on Me was my JAM yo!

She says "ffrhohm" and it sounds good! Nobody else could say ffrhohm like that. Heart. Heart. Wink!

Since it's the weekend, we're laying low and doing some lunch prep for the week. I may just start throwing recipes out one of these days... that's if I run out of Olivia Newton-John stories to talk about.

If DF (that's my favorite husband named Dave) is up for it, we'll be heading to NEBCo Sunday night for this Closer to Free Fundraiser.

Come on down and watch Bud do work!

Tuesday can't come soon enough. It's Meet the Surgeons Day. I feel like everything up to now has been mildly worrisome. When I meet with the plastics guy (Bronwyn got the Mean Girls reference!) everything is going to be, like, for real, for real.

I know this won't be the last time, but I need to thank a

BIG THANK YOU

to everyone who has commented, messaged, texted and called me to offer support.

I need it. I appreciate it. I am grateful and humbled.

Love you back xoxo

Ha ha....mean girls "plastics". I sent you a message about talking to the onco surgeon and the oncoplastic surgeon about mastectomy vs. breast conservation. My cancer was so aggressive. I had 3 breast tumors and 6 of 13 positive metastatic axillary lymph nodes yet the surgeon was able to save my breasts. The only reason she said she may have had to remove them would have been if the tumor margins were positive and they weren't. They do instant pathology in the OR called a frozen section so they know right away. Write any questions down you have bc when you are there u will forget what u wanted to ask. Kudos to the ONJ references. I absolutely LOVED her.…
